Q:

What is the primary differentiation reagent for chondrogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells?

A:

Lonza recommends the addition of TGF-B3 (PT-4124) to the Chondrogenic Differentiation Media (PT-3003) to promote chondrogenic differentiation of MSCs. Please see the MSC differenation protocol for complete details on differentiating MSCs down a chondrogenic lineage.
