Mononuclear cells (MNC) are any blood cells with a rounded nucleus including lymphocytes (T-cells, B-cells, and Natural Killer [NK] Cells), monocytes, and dendritic cells.
MNC cell profiles differ by donors and can contain on average around 50% T cells, 20% monocytes, 10% B cells, 10% NK cells and may contain up to 5% granulocytes. Lonza is offering now under the product codes CC-2702P and CC-2703P PBMCs with added characterization information available with population frequency values for T cells (CD3, CD4, CD8), B cells (CD19), Monocytes (CD14), NK cells (CD56), Dendritic cells (CD11c). With this information the customer can select the donor best suited to their experimental needs
