Q:

Why can’t I obtain a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for a MycoAlert®/MycoAlert® PLUS/ToxiLight®/ViaLight® Kit via your Webpage-tool?

A:

Lonza’s luminescent assays (including MycoAlert® Mycoplasma detection assay, MycoAlert® PLUS Mycoplasma detection assay, MycoAlert® Control set, ToxiLight® Non-Destructive Cytotoxicity Assay, and ViaLight® Plus Cell Proliferation Assay) each include several components including (but not limited to) reagent(s) and reconstitution buffer(s). Each component in these kits will have its own catalog and lot number. As each component is tested individually, each component will have its own Certificate of Analysis (COA). Lonza does not always test all of the components in these kits together, therefore the kit as a whole will not have a Certificate of Analysis (COA).
The product catalog number and batch/lot number for each component is printed on the white label affixed to the individual vials within each kit. So long as you have the product catalog number and batch/lot number, Lonza Certificates of Analysis (COA) can be downloaded from https://bioscience.lonza.com/lonza_bs/US/en/coa/search. Please enter the product catalog number and batch/lot number exactly as it is printed on the product label (including all leading zeros and dashes [-]).
