Are Lonza’s melanocytes classified/categorized by the donor’s skin tone?

Lonza’s human melanocytes, both adult and neonatal, are currently only classified by the donor’s race. Lonza designates race as Caucasian (C), Black/African American (B), Asian (A), Hispanic (H), Other (O) (which can include Indian, Native American, Eskimo, and others) and mixed races (for example, a donor listed as C/B identified themselves as having mixed heritage between Caucasian and Black/African American.
???????Lonza does not currently obtain any further information in regards to donor race/ethnicity nor can Lonza currently further comment on the actual skin tone for any of the donors.
