Basically, once the supplement has been added to the Nucleofector® Solution, the shelf-life of the Nucleofector®  Kit is 3 months. 

However, to prolong the shelf-life of the supplemented Nucleofector® Solution it is possible to mix only what is needed for a Nucleofector® Experiment based on the number of reactions required.

The ratio is 4.5:1 (2.25 mL of Nucleofector® Solution plus 500 µL Nucleofector® Supplement).

• For a single 100 ul reaction use 82 µl Nucleofector® Solution and 18 µl Nucleofector® Supplement.
• For a single 20 ul reaction use 16,4 µl Nucleofector® Solution and 3,6 µl Nucleofector® Supplement.

Please don’t forget to add some extra volume to your mastermix.

General Storage and Stability: Nucleofector® Kits are shipped at room temperature. After receiving the kits, store Nucleofector® Solution, Supplement, and pmaxGFP™ Vector at 2–8°C and Nucleocuvette® Vessels at room temperature. For long-term storage, pmaxGFP™ Vector is ideally stored at -20°C. The expiration date is printed on the solution box.
