Q:

What instrumentation is needed to run the ViaLight™ Plus Assay?

A:

To achieve optimal performance and convenience a microplate luminometer should be used.  If reagent injectors are available on the instrument, these should be used since they enable full automation of the assay.  If reagent injectors are not available the assay can still be performed by adding all reagents manually with a multichannel pipette prior to loading the plate into the luminometer.
It is also possible to perform the ViaLight™ Plus Assays in cuvette based luminometers, but this does slow down the throughput of the assay.  Details of running the ViaLight™ Plus Assays with all the above instrument types can be found in the appropriate kit insert.
