CD4+ T helper cells are white blood cells that are an essential part of the human immune system. CD4+ cells are mad in the spleen, lymph nodes and thumus gland. Mononuclear cells (MNCs or PBMCs) are isolated from apheresis derived peripheral blood and are further purified via immunomagnetic selection directed against CD4.
