In contrast to the Nucleofector® I, II and 2b System which comes with individual kits for each primary cell type, the 4D-Nucleofector® System only requires 5 primary cell kits covering a broad range of primary cells.

There are cell-type specific Optimized Protocols available with specific Nucleofection® Recommendations for individual cell types. For primary cells lacking an Optimized Protocol we offer a Primary Cell Optimization Kit.
